Trilingual safety board. Marine safety campaign
Marine safety campaign
A rigid safety-awareness board printed in Chinese, Japanese and English for a ship's crew. The landscape board shows a bulk carrier at sea, a cartoon worker in a hard hat giving a thumbs-up, a Safety First badge and a slogan in three languages about beginning from zero and committing to zero.

About this job
Safety boards are used to keep a message in front of a crew or a work team. In maritime and industrial settings, boards are placed in common areas so workers see them often, and they use pictures and short slogans for quick reading.
The board is landscape and printed in full colour on rigid material. A large photograph of a ship fills most of the face, with a Safety First badge at the top right and a friendly worker illustration at the lower left. The slogan appears in Chinese at the top and in Japanese and English along the lower band, so multinational crews can read it in their own language. The rigid board stays flat and can be mounted or propped up.
Boards like this are produced by printing full colour on a rigid substrate, then trimming to size. Multilingual text is checked closely, as characters in Chinese and Japanese must be complete and correctly typeset. Photographs are checked for resolution at the final size, and a proof confirms colour, text size and the green band at the foot. Corners and edges are checked before packing flat.
Questions
What did EZ Print print for Marine safety campaign?
A rigid safety-awareness board printed in Chinese, Japanese and English for a ship's crew. The landscape board shows a bulk carrier at sea, a cartoon worker in a hard hat giving a thumbs-up, a Safety First badge and a slogan in three languages about beginning from zero and committing to zero.
What material suits a safety board?
A rigid board such as foam board or PVC-type board keeps its shape, takes full-colour print and can be mounted or propped up. The right material depends on whether the board is indoors or exposed.
Can a safety sign carry three languages?
Yes. Text can be set in several languages, but each needs enough space and a readable size. Characters and spelling should be checked by a fluent reader before printing.
Why use pictures on a safety board?
Pictures and short slogans are understood quickly, even by readers with different first languages. They help a message stand out and stay memorable in a busy workplace.
Can EZ Print print something similar on a deadline?
Same-day and urgent printing available. Subject to artwork approval, payment, print type and production availability. Timing confirmed per job.
