Everything printed here, stated as a specification

Not a catalogue. Every service below publishes what the thing is made of, what it measures, what each finishing operation needs and whether its tooling is kept, and the combinations that fail — which is the half of a printer’s knowledge that is normally kept in the estimator’s head.

Printing services in Singapore, in one paragraph

EZ Print is a printing company in Singapore, trading since 2017, and quotes 28 distinct services from their specifications. They divide into three: sheet-fed collateral such as name cards, flyers, brochures, booklets and folders; stationery, labels and packaging; and large-format work — banners, surface graphics, signage and exhibition display. Thirteen stocks are held and each is published with its measured caliper in millimetres, because gsm is weight per square metre and not thickness. Every finishing operation is published with the tooling it needs and whether that tooling is kept for the reorder. Standard turnaround is 7–14 working days. Same-day printing available. Subject to artwork, stock and production capacity confirmation. Timing is agreed for each job. Specialist finishing schedules are confirmed in your quotation. Artwork is checked against the specification before production. EZ Print quotes from the specification and does not publish prices.

The work

28 services, grouped by what the object actually is

Grouped rather than listed, because twenty-eight names in one column is a price list with the prices taken out. Each entry carries the one fact that separates it from the entry above it — the figure that decides the job — rather than a sentence about quality.

Looking for a product by name? All 140 products

Sheet-fed collateral

Printed on a sheet, cut to a trim, and picked up by a person.

Stationery and packaging

The printed matter a business runs on, and the things it puts a product into.

Large format and display

Printed on a roll or a board, and read from further away than arm’s length.

Six fields, and a quotation is arithmetic

There is no price list because a printed price is only true for one exact specification. Send these six and a written quotation comes back for that job — and if one of them is undecided, say so rather than guessing, because a quotation against a guess is a quotation for a different job.

6fields

Quantity, stock, sides, finish, size, deadline.

Quantity
The number of finished pieces. It decides the process before it decides anything else — below roughly a thousand sheets a job is digital, above roughly two thousand it is usually offset.
Stock
The sheet or the material, and the weight. If it is not decided, send the artwork and say where the piece will be handed over; the venue usually decides the stock.
Sides
Printed one side or both, and in how many colours. 4C/4C, 4C/1C, 1C/0.
Finish
Lamination, spot UV, foil, emboss, die-cutting, binding, hemming, mounting. This is the field that sets the calendar.
Size
The finished trim or the finished assembled size, in millimetres.
Deadline
The date the finished work is needed. Not a cutoff — the date, and whether it is fixed by an event.

Turnaround

One window for every job, and a quotation for anything tighter

  • Standard

Standard turnaround is 7–14 working days.

Standard orders. The schedule for specialist finishing is confirmed in your quotation.

  • Express

    Same-day printing available.

Subject to artwork, stock and production capacity confirmation. Timing is agreed for each job.

No cutoff is published, and no express time is either — the honest answer depends on the finishing, the stock and what is already on the floor that week. What the finishing decides is the order of the work inside the window: a film pass, a fold, a stitch, a die, a block, a screen or a glue cure each have to happen in sequence, and every service page states which of them its own work carries. Reorders usually skip a step entirely, because the tooling and the approved file are already on record.

Two reference sections sit behind every service page. Neither sells anything; both are the reason the service pages can state what they state.

Where the numbers on every service page come from

The materials library holds 13 stocks, each drawn at its measured caliper — one millimetre of stock is twenty-two pixels of edge — so a sheet you can crease and a board you cannot are visibly different objects. Every caliper published anywhere on this site is read from that one table, which is why the same sheet at the same weight cannot measure two different thicknesses on two pages.

Print Ideas holds 48 printed objects, each answering the same six questions in the same order — what it is, what it is printed on, how it feels, what it suits, its lead time, and the mistake made with it most often. A service page tells you how a thing is quoted; an idea entry tells you what it is like to have made one.

Asked most often

What printing services does EZ Print offer?

28 services, grouped three ways. Sheet-fed collateral: name cards, flyers, brochures, booklets, posters, postcards, calendars, presentation folders, invitations, certificates, tickets and vouchers. Stationery and packaging: letterheads and envelopes, NCR bill books, stickers and labels, packaging, paper bags, tissue packs, corporate gifts, apparel. Large format and display: banners, surface graphics, signage, pull-up banners, exhibition stands, backdrops, standees, point of sale, and digital printing as a process.

How does EZ Print quote a printing job?

From six fields: quantity, stock, sides, finish, size and deadline. A price is only true for one exact specification, so no prices are published — send those six and a written quotation comes back for that job. If the stock is undecided, send the artwork instead and one will be recommended.

How long does printing take in Singapore?

Standard turnaround is 7–14 working days, and it is the same window for every service here — plain sheet-fed printing, lamination, folding, stitching, foil, embossing, die-cutting and binding alike. What the finishing changes is the order of the work inside that window: a film pass, a fold, a stitch, a die, a block, a screen and a glue cure each have to happen in sequence, and each is a separate pass over every copy. Where a date is tighter than the standard window, ask for an express quotation with the specification on it.

Which service page should I read?

The one named after the object rather than the occasion. Every service page carries the same sections in the same order: a one-paragraph answer, the short specification, the materials with their measured calipers, the finishing table with the tooling each operation needs, the combinations that fail, the sizes, the artwork requirements, the turnaround and the questions people actually ask.

Does EZ Print publish prices?

No. Every job is quoted from its specification — stock, quantity, sides, finish, size and deadline. A printed price is only true for one exact specification, so publishing one would mean quoting a job nobody asked for. What is published instead is what the work is made of and what it costs on the calendar.
